Great hold and texture
I love how this paste holds my hair in place without making it look stiff or greasy. It also adds a nice texture and volume to my hair.
Too heavy for my hair
Unfortunately, this paste was too heavy for my fine hair and made it look weighed down and greasy. I had to wash it out immediately.
Long-lasting hold
This paste keeps my hair styled all day long, even in humidity or wind. I don't have to worry about my hair falling out of place.
Decent product, but not my favorite
The Construction Paste is okay, but I've used other products that I like better. It does have good hold, but I don't love the texture it gives my hair.
Difficult to apply evenly
I found it really hard to apply this paste evenly throughout my hair. Some sections ended up way too clumpy, while others didn't have enough product. It was frustrating to work with.
Not sure if it's worth the price
The MITCH Construction Paste is pretty expensive compared to other hair styling products. While it does work well, I'm not sure if it's worth the extra cost.
The Paul Mitchell MITCH Construction Paste is known for its chemical scent, which might require some getting used to but diminishes over time. It offers a low shine, matte finish, ensuring a natural, non-greasy look. This paste has a thick, creamy consistency, making it effective for strong hair styling hold.
Especially suitable for fine or thinning hair, it provides lasting hold without heaviness. Its holding power endures all day and the product can be easily washed out, leaving no residue or buildup. However, it's important to avoid overuse, as too much can result in a sticky or greasy texture. The paste is gentle on hair and doesn't necessitate vigorous scrubbing to remove. Priced between $15 and $25, it offers a good balance of quality and cost. Some users, however, have noted inconsistent quality, with occasional excessive shine and a tendency to make hair feel greasy.
